(C)Somewhere (Cm7)over the rainbow (F)way up (C)high
(F)There's a (C)land that I heard of
(G)Once in a lulla(Am)by-y(F)-y-y.
(C)Somewhere (Cm7)over the rainbow (F)bluebirds (C)fly
(F)Birds fly (C)over the rainbow
(G)Why oh why (Am)can't (F)I.
(C)Someday I wish upon a star
And (G)wake up where the clouds are far beh(Am)ind (F)me
Where (C)troubles melt like lemon drops
(G)Way above the chimney tops
That's (Am)where you'll (F)find (G)me.
Oh,(C) somewhere (Cm7)over the rainbow (F)skies are (C)blue
(F)And the (C)dreams that you dare to (G)dream
Really do come (Am)true-(F)oo-oo.
(C)Somewhere (Cm7)over the rainbow (F)bluebirds (C)fly
(F)Birds fly (C)over the rainbow
(G)Why oh why can't(Am) I-(F)II-II (C)fly.
(C)If happy little bluebirds fly
(G)Beyond the rainbow
Why oh (F)why (G)can't (C)I.

RAVISHING RUBY
(C) Ravishing (G7)Ruby, she's been a(C)round for a while
Ravishing (G7)Ruby, she was a (C)truck stop child
Born in the back of a rig, somewhere (F)near L.A.
Ravishing (C)Ruby you poured a (G7)lot of hot coffee (C)in your day.
Ravishing (G7)Ruby believes any(C)thing you say
Just like her (G7)daddy said, said he'd be (C)back some day
She was just fourteen, she grew up (F)wild and free
And all the (C)time she'd been waiting on (G7)him
She'd been waiting on (C)you and me.
Ravishing (F)Ruby she sleeps in a (C)bunk out back
Her days and (G7)nights are filled with dreams
Of a man named (C)Smiling Jack
That was her (F)daddy's name and that's all she (C)ever knew
Ravishing (G7)Ruby ain't got time for guys like (C)me and you.
Ravishing (G7)Ruby a beautiful (C)young girl now
Ravishing (G7)Ruby she made a (C)solemn vow
Waiting on Smiling Jack, he'll come (F)rolling by
And she wants to (C)see him she wants to (G7)touch him
Either way (C)dead or alive.

BATTLE OF NEW ORLEANS
(C)In 1814 (F)we took a little trip,
(G7)Along with Colonel Jackson (C)down the mighty mississip'.
We took a little bac(F)on and we took a little beans
And (G7)we caught the bloody (C)British in a town in New Orleans.
Chorus:
We fired our guns and the British kept a comin'
There wasn't as (G7)many as (C)there was a while ago.
We fired once more and they began to runnin'
On down the Missi(G7)ssippi to the(C) gulf of Mexico.
We (C)looked down the river and we (F)see'd the British come
And there (G7)musta been a hundred of 'em (C)beatin' on the drum
They stepped so high and they (F)made their bugles ring'
We (G7)stood beside our cotton bales and (C)didn't say a thing.
Chorus.
Old Hickory said we could (F)take 'em by surprise
If we (G7)didn't fire a musket 'till we (C)looked 'em in the eyes.
We held our fire 'till we (F)see'd their faces well
Then we (G7)opened up with squirrel guns and (C)really gave 'em....Well.
Chorus.
Chorus 2.
Yeah! They ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles,
And they ran through the bushes where a (G7)rabbit couldn't (C)go.
They ran so fast that the hounds couldn't catch 'em
On down the Mississippi to the (G7)Gulf of (C)Mexico.
We fired our cannon 'till the (F)barrel melted down
So we (G7)grabbed an alligator and we (C)fought another round.
We filled his head with cannonballs and (F)powdered his behind
And (G7)when we touched the powder off the (C)'gator lost his mind.
Chorus 1 the chorus 2. repeat last line.(C)

IT'S HARD TO BE HUMBLE
Chorus:
(G7)Oh, (C)Lord it's hard to be humble, when you're perfect in every (G7)way.
I can't wait to look in the mirror, cos' I get better looking each (C)day.
To know me is to love me, I (C7)must be a hell of a (F)man.
Oh, Lord it's hard to be (C)humble, but I'm(G7) doing the best that I (C)can.
I (C)used to have a girlfriend, but I guess she just couldn't comp(G7)ete
With all of those love starved women, who keep clamouring at my (C)feet.
Well I probably could find another, but I (C7)guess they're all in awe of (F)me,
Who cares I never get (C)lonesome, cause I (G7)treasure my own comp(C)any.
Chorus.
I (C)guess you can say I'm a loner, a cowboy outlaw, tough and (G7)proud,
I could have lots of friends if I wanted, but how would I stand out in a (C)crowd.
Some folks say I'm egotistical, well I(C7) don't even know what that (F)means,
I guess it has something to(C) do with the way I(G7) fill out my tight blue (C) jeans.
Chorus then repeat the last line.

FIELDS OF ATHENRY
(C)By a lonely prison wall I(F) heard a sweet voice (C)call(G)ing(C)
Michael they have (F)taken you (G)away.
For you (C)stole Travelyan's (F)corn
That your(C) babes might see the (G)morn
Now a prison ship lies waiting in the (C)bay.
CHORUS
(C)Fair (F)lie the fields of Athen(Am)ry.
Where (C)once we watched the small freebirds (G)fly.
(C)Our love grew with the (F)spring
We had (C)dreams and songs to (G)sing
As we wandered through the fields of Athen(C)ry.
(C)By a lonely prison wall I(F) heard a young man (C)call(G)ing(C)
Nothing matters (F)Jenny when your (G)free
Against the (C)famine and the (F)crown
I re(C)belled, they ran me (G)down
Now you must raise our children without(C) me.
Chorus twice,

(C)As the prison ship sailed (F)out across the (G)sky.

For her(C) love in Botany (G)Bay,
While she is lonely in the fields of Athen(C)ry.

DIRTY OLD TOWN
(C)I met my love, by the gas works wall
I dreamed a (F)dream, by the old (C)canal
I kissed my girl, by the factory wall
Dirty old (G7)town, dirty old (Am)town.
Clouds are (C)drifting across the moon
Cats are (F)prowling on their (C)beats
Springs a girl on the streets at night
(G7)Dirty old town, (Am)dirty old town.
Heard a (C)siren from the dock
Saw a (F)train set the night on (C)fire
I smelled the spring on the smokey wind
Dirty old (G7)town, dirty old (Am)town.
I'm going to (C)make me a big sharp ax
Shining (F)steel tempered in the (C)fire
I'll chop you down like an old dead tree
Dirty old (G7)town, dirty old (Am)town.
